Cheryl McNaughten is a Master groomer and a huge animal lover. She has a three-legged rescue dog Freya and a sweet rescue cat MeowMeow. She has been grooming for over ten years and has earned a great reputation for her work. In 2012 (when she lived in Toronto) she won BlogTO’s “Best Of” Award and was selected to be the spokesperson for a campaign by Purina for her grooming.
Since moving to Whitby, she opened McNaughten Grooming out of her home to be able to offer the kind of grooming experience she always wanted: cage free, everything one on one, and the animals treated with respect and compassion.
Cheryl specializes in dogs who need a little extra TLC. She understands that dogs don’t bite during grooming because they are “bad”; they are just scared and need to be shown that they are safe.
