Cheryl McNaughten is a Master groomer and a huge animal lover. She has a three-legged rescue dog Freya, a big rescue Kangal Shepherd Snudoo, a rescue cat Tiger, a rescue snake Snekneck, and two rescue guines pigs DJ Peepee Poopoo and Snufflekins. She has been grooming for over twenty years and has earned a great reputation for her work. In 2012 (when she lived in Toronto) she won BlogTO’s “Best Of” Award and was selected to be the spokesperson for a campaign by Purina for her grooming.
She has had her business, McNaughten Grooming, in Whitby since 2013. She grooms out of her home to be able to offer the kind of grooming experience she always wanted: cage free, everything one on one, and the animals treated with respect and compassion.
Cheryl specializes in dogs who need a little extra TLC. She understands that dogs don’t bite during grooming because they are “bad”; they are just scared and need to be shown that they are safe.
